My name is Kristjan-Olari Leping. I was born on March 21st 1980.
Achieving success has always been important for me. What ever I do I want to be better than the others, no matter if it is writing a scientific article, finishing a policy analysis report, organizing training or playing football.
I am involved in many different activities. I have an associated professor position at the University of Tartu, am a policy analyst in a policy research center, I am a trainer and I am involved in many other business projects.
But at the same time I hate working long hours and actually I do not work more than an average person does. I spend a lot of time together with my friends and practice sports regularly. I play football in the Estonian Division 4 and I am a manager of an amateur football club.
How can it be possible to do so many things? The point is that for many years I have always been looking to find ways of making things faster. I work very fast, much faster than an average person does.
How could I work so fast? The main point is that I read very fast. It makes a lot of difference if you can read a report, which average man spends an hour, in 15 minutes. Have you ever thought how much time we spend on reading e-mails, reports, manuals, handbooks and so on. But what if we could do it 2, 3 or 4 times faster. We can gain many hours every day.
I defended my PhD thesis in economics at the age of 28. In my university it is the lowest age anyone has achieved it in economics. Without speed reading skills I would have never done it so fast. It makes a lot of sense if you can work through loads of material in short time.
I want you to become a fast reader too. It is sad to see that so many people spend so much time on paper work, they miss deadlines and become stressed because they are slow readers.
I will share my experiences with you and will teach you how to read faster.
